Terms of Service
Please read these terms carefully before using FilmDock.io.
1. Introduction
These Terms of Service govern your use of the FilmDock.io platform and the professional services we provide ("FilmDock.io", "we", "us"). By placing an order or accessing the platform, you agree to these terms.
2. Services
FilmDock.io provides post-production and delivery services including DCP creation, PSE testing, Film QC, DME extraction, subtitle services, and custom post-production work. Service specifications, turnaround times, and deliverables are described on the relevant service pages and confirmed in your order summary.
3. Orders and Payment
Orders are placed through the FilmDock.io platform and are confirmed upon receipt of payment. All prices are in US dollars. Payment is processed securely by our card payment provider. Work commences only after payment is confirmed. Pricing is based on the rates displayed at the time of order.
4. Cancellations and Refunds
Orders cancelled before work commences are eligible for a full refund. Once processing has begun, refunds are assessed on a case-by-case basis. No refund is available after delivery of completed files. Rush fees are non-refundable once processing has begun.
5. File Uploads and Materials
You are responsible for providing complete, approved source materials. FilmDock.io accepts no liability for errors arising from incorrect or incomplete source materials. You must have all necessary rights, licences, and clearances for the content you submit.
6. Intellectual Property
You retain full ownership of your content. FilmDock.io claims no rights to your materials. Source files and deliverables are stored securely and accessible only to you and authorised FilmDock.io staff. Files are deleted 30 days after order completion.
7. Quality and Liability
FilmDock.io uses professional tools and qualified staff for all services. In the event of a service error attributable to FilmDock.io, we will re-process the work at no additional charge. Our liability is limited to the value of the specific order affected.
8. Data and Privacy
Your personal data and project information are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We use your data only to provide the services you have ordered and to communicate about your account and orders.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in San Francisco, California.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform following notification of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
